  The staff of this church are willing to love people enough to take risks and reach out to those who may not respond well. Calamity Jane/Bacon Oracle (see her reviews below) is a great example - she is simply angry and mentally disturbed, yet this church continues to reach out to her, even when she sends people unkind notes and makes false accusations. Like Christ, these kind people continue to turn the other cheek. Bless them!

  This is a wonderful church and school where God is ever-present. The loving, Christian environment is evident from the moment you step foot on the grounds. My favorite is children's church during the 9 a.m. service. From the moment the priest begins to speak for this portion of the service, the children flock to the front and demonstrate how captivated they have been by the morning's Gospel. They are so engaged and the congregation supports this wonderful youth ministry. There is very strong and dedicated leadership that makes all feel the love that is ours through Christ. My family and I have found a permanent church home where we can grow in our relationship with Christ and our fellow Christians. From the youth programs to the adult Sunday school, the church run day school to the food pantry, St. John's is a wonderful example of a true sanctuary! Sharon

  From the first visit to St. John's we have felt welcome. We have a church family that has grown over the years. Our children have attended St. John's Day school and have received a solid academic and spirtual foundation on which they can continue to grown from. Both the church and school have helped to equipt our family with the knowledge of God's mercy and love.
  The church offers many opportunies for outreach into the community in which to share God's blessings. We especially enjoy the 9:00 am contemporary service. There is also an 8:00 and11:00. Patty Klement

  St.Johns School and Church is my second home. I feel loved and welcome by everyone. I attend youth group every wednesday and especially look forward to it. Our youth minister is fantastic and all I can do is thank her for what she has done for me. Our priest is a wonderful man of God and has taught me so much, he is new to our church but still treats us all like family. This church is a place for love, laughs, and worship. If you ever get a chance to come worship with us please do. Our doors are always open to everyone. Merry Christmas and God Bless.
