  My friends came down from Houston for my daughter's wedding in 2007. The husband of the couple was a convert to the Jewish faith.However like most converts he was more dedicated than most of us born into our respective faith traditions. He asked where is the nearest temple. I told him right down the street. He walked there and back,While his wife stayed behind to help with last minute prepping for the wedding. He came back with a glowing report of the warm welcome that he received. He also enjoyed the wedding.He was a soldier in Fidel Castro revolutionary army and fell out of favor with Fidel and had to leave as quickly as he could. He enjoyed every opportunity to enjoy life and the options afforded him in this country. Being able to worship as he chose was precious to him. RIP Jimmy Rebaza. Temple Emanuel was another element of Serendipity in his life of adventure.

  Visited Temple Emanuel 6/21/2017 We had no appointment the rabbi saw as immediately. He is a very interesting man obviously very intelligent and. Compassionate. The sanctuary is in excellent condition very peaceful. We are considering moving to The Valley and this visit got us closer to moving .in .
